Join us for an
exciting evening on the waterfront for the ODDGallery's largest
fundraiser of the year featuring artwork in a diverse range of media
by local and regional artists. So come out and buy some fantastic
art, and help support ODDGallery programming!
About
the Gallery
The ODDGallery is an Artist Run Centre located
at the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture (KIAC), which is operated
by the Dawson City Arts Society, a nonprofit organization whose
mandate is to create an environment for the advancement of the arts
in the Yukon Territory. The Gallery’s programming features
8-10 annual exhibitions of territorial, national, and international
contemporary visual art. The Gallery also presents artist talks
with exhibiting and visiting artists along with a wide array of
year-round outreach programming and events.
Call For Donations
The Odd Gallery is seeking donations of original artwork from interested
artists for our annual fundraiser Art Auction. The auction will
take place during the Yukon Riverside Arts Festival to be held on
the Discovery Days weekend, August 14-17, 2008 in Dawson City, Yukon.
Participating artists will receive 50% of the selling price of their
artwork and the remaining 50% will go to the Odd Gallery as a Donation.
(Artists are welcome to donate additional amounts if they choose.)
Artists will receive a charitable tax receipt for the amount donated
to the Odd Gallery. Artwork should be Framed (if necessary) or matted
and shrink-wrapped. Interested in donating art work? Please
